This past weekend Jon and I had our engagement pictures taken by the super sweet, super fabulous Carrie Roen of Brooke Mayo Photography. Not only is Carrie as wonderful in person as she is on the phone, but she makes you feel so relaxed in front of the lens. We both had so much fun with her playing in the woods and making funny faces. She seriously has amazed me with these images. I mean...O-M-Gee :) Here is a small sample of the images from this weekend. Thanks Carrie!!! You are making me want to get married TOMORROW :)

what a lovely time to be engaged!

happy wednesday all! well a lot has happened since my last post...the love of my life surprised me and proposed this past Friday at my studio for First Friday and well...to sum it up in a nutshell...WE ARE EXCITED!

 I will be posting a much longer post in the coming days about the entire story but I wanted to share with you all what my sweetheart gave me...*sigh* I am so so so lucky to be with someone so wonderful!
